Double Fold Applied Binding-
also known as French Fold binding. Consists of two layers of fabric. A more
durable binding |

Single Fold Binding- one
layer of fabric. Used mainly for non-mitered quilts or to conserve a small
amount of fabric. Not a very durable binding. |

Edge-Turned Bindings-
bound by folding the backing around to the front. |

Commercial Binding Tape
(packaged bias tape)- pre-made bias tape available in double fold or single,
in different widths, and different colours. |
